In most of my landscape paintings with pastels, I use an under painting technique, either with rubbing alcohol, watercolor, or oil paint. I especially love working on the changing aspects of water as a gas or as a liquid. With acrylics, I like the fuzzy contours of the objects and the hazy atmosphere in a landscape.
